Job Opening: Fabricator (Welding & Fabrication Department)

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our Welding & Fabrication team in the Oil & Gas industry. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of hands-on experience in metal fabrication, welding, and assembly within the petrochemical or related sectors. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols.

This is a full-time position based in Kuwait, offering a competitive salary of 2-4 LPA. Candidates must hold an ITI certification in a relevant field.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications for fabrication projects.
• Perform cutting, welding, grinding, and assembling metal components as per project requirements.
• Operate fabrication machinery such as shears, brakes, saws, and CNC equipment.
• Ensure all fabricated parts meet quality standards and tolerances.
• Collaborate with engineers and team members to troubleshoot fabrication issues.
• Adhere to workplace safety regulations and maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment.
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure compliance with client specifications.
• Maintain tools and equipment, reporting malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
• Assist in material procurement and inventory management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: ITI certification in Welding, Fabrication, or a related field.
• Experience: 5-10 years of experience in metal fabrication within the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and blueprints.
• Expertise in welding techniques (MIG, TIG, ARC) and metalworking tools.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and industry standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Physical stamina to handle heavy materials and stand for extended periods.

Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory)

• Experience with CNC machining or automated fabrication systems.
• Knowledge of ASME and ANSI standards.
• Certification in advanced welding techniques.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles.

Work Environment

This role is based in an industrial setting in Kuwait City, Al Asimah. Candidates must be prepared to work in a physically demanding environment, including exposure to loud noises, high temperatures, and heavy machinery. Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided.

Note: This is not a remote position. On-site attendance is mandatory.
