Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Field Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team in the Oil & Gas industry. This full-time position is based in Muscat, Oman, and requires a professional with 5-10 years of hands-on experience in field operations, project coordination, and engineering support. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth field operations, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

As a Field Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and optimizing field operations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing field installations, maintenance, and repairs for Oil & Gas equipment and infrastructure.
• Coordinating with project managers, contractors, and engineering teams to ensure project timelines are met.
• Conducting inspections and assessments to identify operational inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
• Providing technical support and troubleshooting for field operations to minimize downtime.
• Ensuring compliance with industry safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies.
• Preparing detailed reports on field activities, progress, and challenges for management review.
• Collaborating with procurement and logistics teams to ensure the availability of necessary materials and equipment.
• Training and mentoring junior engineers and field staff to enhance technical expertise.

Required Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Graduation or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Petroleum, or related field).
• Experience: 5-10 years of hands-on experience in field engineering, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector.
• Skills: Strong coordination, problem-solving, and technical troubleshooting abilities.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with industry-standard tools, software, and equipment.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting and teamwork.
• Location: Must be willing to work on-site in Muscat, Oman.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in Oman or the Middle East region.
