Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fire Fighting Technician to join our Facilities Management team in Muscat, Oman. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in sprinkler & hydrant system testing and hold an ITI certification or equivalent. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of 5-8 LPA.

Key Responsibilities
As a Fire Fighting Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, inspecting, and testing fire safety systems to ensure compliance with regulations. Your duties will include:
- Conducting routine inspections and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems, hydrant systems, and other fire suppression equipment.
- Performing functional tests on fire alarms, pumps, valves, and extinguishers.
- Identifying and repairing faults in fire safety systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Ensuring compliance with local and international fire safety standards.
- Maintaining detailed records of inspections, tests, and maintenance activities.
- Assisting in emergency response drills and training sessions.
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure seamless operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following:
Essential Skills:
- Hands-on experience with sprinkler & hydrant system testing.
- Knowledge of fire suppression systems, alarms, and emergency protocols.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair fire safety equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety guidelines.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Education & Certifications:
- ITI certification in Fire Safety, Electrical, or Mechanical fields (or equivalent).
- Additional certifications in fire safety systems (preferred but not mandatory).
Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in fire safety or related fields.
- Prior experience in facilities management is a plus.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
The role involves working in both indoor and outdoor environments, often requiring physical exertion. Key aspects include:
- Working at heights or in confined spaces when inspecting systems.
- Lifting and carrying equipment (up to 20 kg).
- Standing or walking for extended periods.
- Exposure to varying weather conditions for outdoor inspections.
