Job Responsibilities

As a Fire Fighting Technician, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair fire suppression systems (e.g., sprinklers, hydrants, extinguishers).
• Conduct routine tests and inspections on fire alarm systems and emergency lighting.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and perform corrective actions in compliance with safety standards.
• Coordinate with facility managers to ensure fire safety measures are up to date.
• Train staff on fire safety protocols and emergency response procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and compliance documentation.
• Follow local and international fire safety regulations (NFPA, Saudi Civil Defense).
• Respond to emergency calls for system malfunctions or fire incidents.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following:

• Education: Diploma or Graduation in Fire Safety, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 3-5 years in fire fighting system maintenance, preferably in agriculture or industrial settings.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in installing and servicing fire suppression systems, alarms, and extinguishers.
• Certifications: NFPA or Saudi Civil Defense certification is a plus.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to work in confined spaces and lift heavy equipment.
• Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills for fire safety equipment.
• Communication: Fluency in English or Arabic; ability to train staff effectively.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous record-keeping and adherence to safety protocols.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following qualifications will be advantageous:

• Experience with agricultural fire safety systems (e.g., grain silos, warehouses).
• Knowledge of hydraulic calculations for sprinkler systems.
• Familiarity with CAD software for fire system design.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Al Batha, Riyadh. The position involves:

• Regular site visits to agricultural facilities.
• Exposure to outdoor and high-risk environments.
• Occasional emergency call-outs outside standard working hours.
