About the Role

We are seeking a diligent and experienced Food Safety Officer to join our Technical Support team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with food safety regulations, conduct inspections, and implement best practices to maintain the highest standards in the Food & Beverage industry. This full-time position is perfect for professionals with 1-3 years of experience in food safety management.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce food safety standards in compliance with local and international regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections of food preparation, storage, and handling processes.
• Develop and implement food safety policies, procedures, and training programs.
• Investigate food safety complaints or incidents and provide corrective actions.
• Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure adherence to food safety guidelines.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, audits, and compliance reports.
• Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in food safety.
• Perform risk assessments and recommend improvements to mitigate hazards.

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

• Graduation or Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or a related field.
• Certification in Food Safety (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000) is highly desirable.

Experience:

• 1-3 years of experience in a Food Safety Officer role or similar position.
• Prior experience in the Food & Beverage industry is mandatory.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP principles, and hygiene standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to conduct audits and inspections with precision.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for training and reporting.
• Proficiency in documentation and report writing.
