Key Responsibilities

As a Welding Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing welding operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and adherence to project specifications. Key duties include:

• Supervise and coordinate welding activities on construction sites.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Inspect welding work for quality and adherence to project standards.
• Train and mentor junior welders and team members.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to meet deadlines.
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper usage.
• Monitor material usage and minimize waste.
• Prepare and submit daily progress reports.
• Troubleshoot welding issues and implement corrective actions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following:

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick, etc.).
• In-depth knowledge of welding codes and standards (AWS, ASME).
• Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with welding equipment maintenance and calibration.
