Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to manage the movement of materials in our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in forklift driving, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

As a Forklift Operator at Gulf Overseas, you will play a crucial role in our production process. Your duties will include:

• Operating forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the facility.
• Ensuring safe and efficient handling of goods, including pallets, raw materials, and finished products.
• Conducting pre-operation forklift inspections to maintain equipment functionality.
• Following all workplace safety protocols and OSHA (or equivalent UAE) regulations.
• Collaborating with warehouse and production teams to streamline logistics.
• Maintaining accurate inventory records and documenting material movements.
• Assisting in organizing storage areas to optimize space and accessibility.
• Reporting equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess the following:

• 1-3 years of experience as a Forklift Driver in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Valid forklift operator certification (preferred).
• Strong understanding of warehouse and production workflows.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
• Basic mechanical knowledge for minor forklift troubleshooting.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
• Higher Secondary education or equivalent.

Working Conditions

This role involves:

• Full-time hours (may include shifts, weekends, or overtime as needed).
• On-site work at our Abu Dhabi manufacturing facility (no remote work).
• Exposure to a fast-paced production environment.
• Physical demands, including standing for long periods and handling heavy materials.
