Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Generator Mechanic (Electrical) to join our client's team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in generator maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting within the agriculture sector. This role is crucial for ensuring the uninterrupted operation of electrical generators, which power essential farming equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on electrical generators to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in generators and related equipment.
• Conduct load testing and performance evaluations on generators.
• Replace worn-out components such as bearings, spark plugs, and wiring systems.
• Maintenance of fuel systems, lubrication systems, and cooling systems.
• Troubleshoot control panels, circuit breakers, and voltage regulators.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance, repairs, and parts inventory.
• Collaborate with the operations team to schedule preventive maintenance.
• Provide technical support during generator installations and upgrades.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education:

• Diploma or Graduation in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in generator maintenance and repair.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues in generators.
• Experience working in the agriculture industry or similar operational environments.

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of generator components (alternators, engines, control panels).
• Knowledge of electrical circuits, wiring, and power distribution.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and testing equipment.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills for reporting issues and coordinating with team members.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• This role requires working in an agricultural setting, often outdoors in varying weather conditions.
