Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Generator Technician – Electrical to join our Electrical Maintenance team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in generator maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair, particularly in the Oil & Gas or Engineering & Construction sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on electrical generators and related equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues in generators.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards.
• Maintain detailed service reports and documentation.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team to schedule and execute generator servicing.
• Test and calibrate generator systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Assist in the installation, commissioning, and decommissioning of generator systems.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians.
• Monitor generator performance and recommend upgrades or replacements when necessary.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Diploma or Graduation in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: 1-3 years of hands-on experience in generator maintenance, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical systems, generator controls, and power distribution.
• Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults efficiently.
• Safety Awareness: Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and best practices.
• Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in generator maintenance or electrical systems.
• Familiarity with industry-standard software for maintenance tracking.
• Prior experience working in the Middle East, particularly Saudi Arabia.

Working Conditions

• Location: On-site at Al Batha, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
• Shift: Full-time, may include extended hours or emergency call-outs.
• Environment: Industrial settings with exposure to noise, machinery, and varying weather conditions.
• Travel: Limited travel may be required for field service.
