Job Description: Grinder (Welding & Fabrication)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Grinder to join our Welding & Fabrication Department in the Oil & Gas Construction industry. This full-time role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and requires 3-5 years of experience in fabrication. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Graduation in a relevant field and a strong background in metal grinding and finishing.

As a Grinder, you will play a critical role in ensuring the precision and quality of metal components used in large-scale construction projects. Your expertise will contribute to the safety and efficiency of our operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate grinding machines to smooth and finish metal surfaces according to specifications.
• Inspect metal components for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on grinding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with welders and fabricators to prepare materials for assembly.
• Follow safety protocols and wear protective gear to minimize workplace hazards.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to achieve precise dimensions.
• Monitor grinding processes and adjust machine settings as needed.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in operating grinding machines and related tools.
• Strong knowledge of metal fabrication techniques.

Education & Experience
