Head Waiter (POS) Job – Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Head Waiter (POS) to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time role in the Food & Beverage industry, requiring excellent customer service skills and experience with POS (Point of Sale) systems. The ideal candidate will ensure exceptional dining experiences for guests while overseeing efficient restaurant operations.

Job Responsibilities

As a Head Waiter (POS), your primary duties will include:

• Greeting and seating guests in a welcoming and professional manner.
• Managing table reservations and optimizing seating arrangements.
• Taking orders accurately using the POS system and ensuring timely service.
• Training and supervising junior waitstaff to maintain high service standards.
• Addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and special requests promptly.
• Ensuring cleanliness and organization of the dining area at all times.
• Processing payments and handling cash transactions securely.
• Collaborating with kitchen staff to coordinate food delivery and resolve issues.
• Maintaining inventory of utensils, napkins, and other service essentials.
• Upholding health and safety regulations in compliance with restaurant policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following:

• 1-3 years of experience as a Waiter, Head Waiter, or similar role in the Food & Beverage industry.
• Proficiency in using POS systems for order processing and billing.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership abilities to guide and mentor junior staff.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a keen eye for maintaining service standards.
• Graduation or Diploma in Hospitality or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience in fine dining or upscale restaurants.
• Knowledge of food and beverage pairings.
