Key Responsibilities
As a Heavy Equipment Operator, your primary duties will include:
- Operate heavy machinery, including rollers, loaders, and excavators, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform daily inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues.
- Follow project specifications and supervisor instructions to complete tasks on schedule.
- Coordinate with ground crews to ensure smooth workflow and site safety.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and industry regulations.
- Assist in loading, unloading, and transporting materials as required.
- Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage and maintenance activities.
- Ensure proper storage and care of machinery when not in use.
- Participate in training programs to enhance operational skills and safety awareness.
Requirements & Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Education & Experience
- Higher Secondary School Certificate or equivalent.
- 0-1 years of experience operating heavy construction equipment (Roller, Loader, Excavator).
- Basic understanding of machine learning principles for equipment diagnostics is a plus.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in operating heavy machinery, including rollers, loaders, and excavators.
- Ability to interpret project plans and follow instructions accurately.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor equipment issues.
- Understanding of safety protocols in construction environments.
Soft Skills
- Strong attention to detail and situational awareness.
- Good communication skills to work with team members and supervisors.

Work Environment & Physical Demands
This position involves working in a construction environment with the following conditions:
- Outdoor work in various weather conditions (heat, dust, etc.).
- Prolonged sitting and operating heavy machinery for extended periods.
- Exposure to loud noises and vibrations from equipment.
- Requires bending, lifting, and manual dexterity for minor repairs.
- Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
