Heavy Equipment Operator – Oil & Gas / Petrochemical Industry

Job Overview

We are seeking skilled Heavy Equipment Operators to join our dynamic team in the Oil & Gas sector. This full-time position is based in Kuwait City and requires expertise in handling heavy machinery, ensuring safe and efficient operations within the petrochemical industry. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of hands-on experience and an ITI certification.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and cranes in compliance with safety regulations.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Coordinate with supervisors and team members to execute project tasks efficiently.
• Adhere to operational guidelines and protocols for heavy lifting and material handling.
• Monitor and report any mechanical issues or safety hazards immediately.
• Follow project blueprints and site plans to complete tasks accurately.
• Assist in loading, unloading, and transporting materials as required.
• Ensure adherence to environmental and workplace safety standards.

Skills & Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in operating heavy construction and industrial equipment.
• Strong understanding of heavy lifting techniques and safety protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and project specifications.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and situational awareness.
• Physical stamina to work in demanding environments.

Education & Experience:

• ITI certification or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 5-10 years of proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator in the Oil & Gas or petrochemical industry.
• Valid operator certification/licenses as per industry standards.

Work Environment

This role is based in Kuwait City (Al Asimah Governorate) and requires on-site presence at industrial and construction sites. The work environment may involve exposure to extreme weather conditions, loud noises, and hazardous materials. Candidates must be prepared to work in shifts, including weekends, if necessary.
