Key Responsibilities & Duties
As our House Keeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our cleaning operations and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness throughout our facilities. Your primary duties will include:
- Directly supervise, train, and motivate the housekeeping team to achieve exceptional performance standards
- Develop and implement comprehensive cleaning schedules and checklists for all areas of responsibility
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure compliance with established cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed while controlling costs
- Coordinate with other departments to schedule cleaning around facility activities and special events
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure working environment
- Address client complaints and special requests promptly and professionally
- Prepare and submit regular reports on housekeeping activities, performance metrics, and inventory levels
- Develop and maintain effective staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage at all times
- Monitor and ensure proper maintenance of all cleaning equipment to maximize efficiency and lifespan
- Implement quality control programs to continuously improve cleaning standards and customer satisfaction
- Train new hires on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and company policies
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience
- Diploma or Graduation in Hospitality Management, Facilities Management, or related field
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in housekeeping supervision, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Proven experience in facility management or maintenance services environment
- Comprehensive knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and safety protocols
