About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Staff (M/F) to join our healthcare facility in Koppal, Karnataka. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and infection control standards to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in patient rooms, corridors, and common areas.
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of bio-medical waste in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages to the supervisor.
• Follow strict infection control protocols to prevent the spread of diseases.
• Assist in deep cleaning and disinfection of high-risk areas such as ICUs and operation theaters.
• Adhere to safety guidelines while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the concerned department.
• Collaborate with other healthcare staff to ensure a seamless workflow.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Educational Qualifications

• Graduation or Diploma in any discipline (preferred but not mandatory).
• Certification in sanitation or infection control is a plus.

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in housekeeping, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting.
• Familiarity with hospital hygiene standards and protocols.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of sanitation and infection control practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks for extended periods.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Basic communication skills in Kannada and English.
