Key Responsibilities
As an HP Jetter, your primary duties will include:
- Performing high-pressure water jetting operations to clean and maintain pipelines, tanks, and equipment.
- Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations during all jetting activities.
- Operating and maintaining high-pressure water jetting equipment, including pumps, hoses, and nozzles.
- Inspecting and troubleshooting equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Collaborating with the maintenance team to schedule and execute cleaning operations efficiently.
- Documenting all maintenance and jetting activities, including reports on completed tasks and equipment status.
- Assisting in emergency response situations involving pipeline blockages or spills.
- Providing training and guidance to junior staff on proper jetting techniques and safety measures.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Technical Expertise: Proven experience in high-pressure water jetting within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Safety Compliance: Strong understanding of workplace safety regulations and hazard mitigation.
- Equipment Handling: Proficiency in operating and maintaining high-pressure jetting machinery.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues quickly and effectively.
- Physical Stamina: Capable of working in physically demanding environments, including confined spaces and outdoor settings.
- Education: Diploma or Graduation in a relevant field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance).
- Certifications: Additional certifications in high-pressure water jetting or safety training are a plus.
Work Environment
This role involves working in dynamic and sometimes challenging conditions. Key aspects include:
- Field Work: Majority of tasks are performed on-site at oil and gas facilities.
- Team Collaboration: Close coordination with maintenance and operations teams.
