We are seeking an experienced Senior / Lead HSE Advisor to join our Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) team in Muscat, Oman. This is a full-time role within the Oil & Gas and Engineering & Construction sector. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in HSE management, risk assessment, and compliance, ensuring a safe and sustainable work environment.

Key Responsibilities
As a Senior HSE Advisor, you will oversee safety protocols, regulatory compliance, and environmental protection initiatives. Your role will be critical in fostering a culture of safety across project sites.
Core Duties:
- Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies in line with local and international regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001).
- Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification for on-site operations.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action plans.
- Deliver HSE training programs to employees, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Audit HSE performance and ensure compliance with company and legal standards.
- Collaborate with project managers to integrate safety awareness into daily operations.
- Prepare and submit HSE reports to regulatory bodies and senior management.
- Promote environmental sustainability by minimizing waste, emissions, and resource usage.
Required Skills & Qualifications
To excel in this role, candidates must possess a combination of technical expertise, leadership, and industry-specific knowledge.
Essential Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations in the Oil & Gas sector.
- Proficiency in risk management and mitigation strategies.
- Strong analytical skills for incident investigation and reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for training and stakeholder engagement.
- Certification in NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent HSE qualifications.
- Hands-on experience with safety audits and compliance tracking tools.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of proven experience as an HSE Advisor in the Oil & Gas or Construction industry.
- Familiarity with Oman’s HSE legal framework is a plus.
