Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced HSE Incharge (FG01711) to join our Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) department in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of hands-on experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with a strong focus on safety awareness, compliance, and risk management. The role requires expertise in implementing and monitoring HSE policies to ensure a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

As an HSE Incharge, your primary duties will include:

• Developing, implementing, and overseeing HSE policies and procedures in compliance with local and international regulations.
• Conducting risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards in the workplace.
• Providing HSE training to employees and contractors to enhance safety awareness and ensure compliance.
• Investigating accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensuring all safety equipment and emergency response systems are functional and up-to-date.
• Collaborating with management and stakeholders to promote a strong HSE culture within the organization.
• Maintaining accurate records of HSE inspections, audits, and training sessions.
• Monitoring and reporting on key HSE performance metrics to senior management.

Required Qualifications & Skills

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following:

• Education: Graduation/Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Experience: 5-10 years in an HSE role within the Oil & Gas industry, with demonstrated leadership in safety management.
• Certifications: Relevant HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA) are highly desirable.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in HSE management systems, risk assessment methodologies, and regulatory compliance.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
• Safety Awareness: Deep understanding of workplace hazards and preventive measures.
