Key Responsibilities
As an HSSC Inspector, you will play a critical role in maintaining workplace safety and regulatory compliance. Your duties will include:
- Conducting regular safety inspections at operational sites to identify hazards and ensure compliance with HSE regulations.
- Preparing detailed reports on inspection findings and recommending corrective actions.
- Monitoring and enforcing adherence to safety protocols and company policies.
- Assisting in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and preventive measures.
- Providing safety training to employees and contractors on best practices.
- Liaising with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with local and international safety standards.
- Inspecting PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and safety equipment for functionality.
Qualifications & Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Education
- Graduation or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications in NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA will be an advantage.
Experience
- 3-5 years of experience as an HSSC Inspector or Safety Officer in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Proven track record in conducting risk assessments and safety audits.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and industry best practices.
- Excellent safety awareness and ability to identify potential hazards.
- Proficiency in preparing safety reports and documentation.
- Effective communication and training skills.
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments.
