Job Overview

We are seeking skilled Hull Fitters to join our Engineering team in Abu Dhabi. This is a full-time role requiring 3-5 years of experience in fabrication and welding. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, fitting, and repairing ship hulls and structural components to ensure safety and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics for hull fabrication.
• Assemble and fit metal plates, frames, and other structural components for ship hulls.
• Perform welding and fabrication tasks using various techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, ARC).
• Inspect completed work for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Operate and maintain fabrication tools and equipment safely.
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to resolve technical issues.
• Adhere to workplace safety protocols and industry regulations.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in fabrication and welding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in assembly work.
• Experience with metal cutting, grinding, and shaping tools.
• Knowledge of industry safety standards and best practices.

Education & Experience:

• Diploma or Graduation in a relevant field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Welding Technology).
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in hull fitting, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector.
• Certification in welding (e.g., AWS, CSWIP) is a plus.
