Job Overview

ABU DHABI OIL & GAS COMPANY is seeking a skilled HVAC Control Technician to join our Operations team in Abu Dhabi. This is an excellent opportunity for freshers or individuals with minimal experience (0-1 year) to grow within the Manufacturing and Oil & Gas industry. The role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing HVAC control systems to ensure operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC control systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in HVAC control units, pneumatic systems, and electrical circuits.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment to minimize downtime.
• Calibrate thermostats, sensors, and other control devices for accurate operation.
• Monitor system performance using diagnostic tools and adjust controls as needed.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to improve system efficiency.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance work, repairs, and system modifications.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
• Assist in the installation of new HVAC control systems as required.
• Provide technical support to operations staff regarding HVAC controls.

Skills & Qualifications

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of HVAC systems and control mechanisms.
• Familiarity with electrical circuits and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail in maintenance and calibration tasks.
• Basic knowledge of safety protocols in industrial environments.
• Good communication skills for team collaboration.

Education & Certifications

• Diploma or Graduation in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Certification in HVAC systems or controls (preferred but not mandatory).
• Basic training in workplace safety (e.g., OSHA or equivalent).
