Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Control Technician to join our HSE/Safety department. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of hands-on experience in HVAC control systems within the manufacturing sector. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Key Responsibilities

As an HVAC Control Technician at Hamdan Global, you will be responsible for:

• Installing, inspecting, and maintaining HVAC control systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshooting and repairing HVAC control units, including DDC (Direct Digital Control) systems.
• Calibrating sensors, actuators, and other control components for accuracy.
• Collaborating with engineers and safety teams to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Performing preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to minimize downtime.
• Ensuring all work adheres to company safety protocols and UAE regulations.
• Documenting service reports, maintenance logs, and equipment status updates.

Required Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following:

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in HVAC control systems, including DDC and pneumatic controls.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
• Knowledge of HVAC components such as chillers, boilers, and VRF systems.
• Experience with sensors, actuators, and control wiring.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

Education & Certifications

• Graduation or Diploma in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., EPA, NATE, or UAE-specific HVAC licenses) are a plus.

Soft Skills

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Working Conditions

• Job Type: Full-time, on-site.
• Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE (no remote work).
• Shift: Standard working hours, with occasional overtime.
• Environment: Manufacturing facility with exposure to HVAC equipment.
• Physical Demands: Lifting, bending, and working in confined spaces.
