Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer to join our client's team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in HVAC system design, installation, and maintenance within the Oil & Gas industry. This role requires a strong technical background, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and oversee the installation of HVAC systems for Oil & Gas facilities.
• Perform HVAC load calculations, ductwork design, and equipment selection.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations.
• Troubleshoot HVAC system issues and provide effective solutions.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other engineers to ensure timely project completion.
• Prepare technical reports, schematics, and documentation for HVAC projects.
• Monitor HVAC system performance and recommend upgrades or optimizations.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards such as ASHRAE, NFPA, and local building codes.
• Provide training and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in HVAC system design and analysis software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or HAP).
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, ventilation systems, and thermal dynamics.
• Experience with HVAC equipment such as chillers, boilers, AHUs, and VRF systems.
• Familiarity with Oil & Gas industry standards and safety protocols.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Education & Certification:

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., Certified HVAC Designer or Engineer) is a plus.

Work Environment

This is an on-site position based in Diriyah, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role may require occasional travel to project sites within the region. The work environment is fast-paced, with a focus on teamwork, innovation, and adherence to safety standards.
