About the Role
RK Travel Services is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician (Marine) to join our Engineering team in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems on marine vessels, ensuring optimal performance in compliance with industry safety standards. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in HVAC system design and marine applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, and maintain HVAC systems on marine vessels (ships, oil rigs, etc.).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in marine HVAC units.
- Perform preventive maintenance and ensure compliance with Oil & Gas industry regulations.
- Interpret technical blueprints and schematics for HVAC system design and modifications.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize HVAC efficiency in marine environments.
- Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols and environmental guidelines.
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance reports.
- Assist in procurement of HVAC components and tools for marine projects.
Qualifications & Skills
Education:
- Diploma or Graduation in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience in HVAC system design, preferably in marine or offshore environments.
- Familiarity with Oil & Gas industry standards is a plus.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems (refrigeration, ventilation, etc.).
- Knowledge of marine HVAC components (chillers, compressors, ductwork).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering schematics.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems related to HVAC operations.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and safety consciousness.
- Effective communication for cross-team collaboration.
