HVAC Technician

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join our Maintenance Department in Muscat, Oman. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in HVAC system design, installation, maintenance, and repair. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and growth opportunities in the Construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration units.
• Inspect and troubleshoot HVAC systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Design and optimize HVAC system layouts for efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance to ensure system longevity and performance.
• Test electrical circuits, refrigerant levels, and airflow to diagnose problems accurately.
• Collaborate with engineers and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
• Ensure compliance with Oman’s safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians.
• Assist in sourcing and ordering HVAC equipment and spare parts.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education & Certification

• Diploma or Graduation in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Technology, or a related field.
• Certification in HVAC systems (e.g., EPA, NATE, or equivalent) is preferred.

Experience & Technical Skills

• 3-5 years of proven experience as an HVAC Technician in commercial or industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC system design, components, and functionality.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Experience with refrigerants, electrical systems, and ductwork installation.
• Ability to operate diagnostic tools and HVAC equipment.
