Job Summary

RK Travel Services is seeking a skilled and experienced Hydraulic Mechanic specializing in marine equipment to join our growing team in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of hands-on experience in hydraulic system repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting within the oil & gas industry. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary range of 5-8 LPA.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair hydraulic systems and components on marine vessels and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance on hydraulic pumps, valves, cylinders, and hoses to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic system malfunctions and implement effective solutions.
• Read and interpret hydraulic schematics, technical manuals, and engineering drawings.
• Assemble and test hydraulic systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to resolve complex hydraulic issues.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts inventory.
• Ensure all work adheres to safety regulations and company policies.
• Operate diagnostic tools and equipment to assess system performance.
• Provide technical support and training to junior mechanics as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in hydraulic system repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Experience working with marine hydraulic systems (preferred).
• Knowledge of hydraulic schematics, pumps, valves, and actuators.
• Ability to operate hydraulic testing and diagnostic equipment.
• Familiarity with safety protocols in the oil & gas industry.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-oriented with excellent manual dexterity.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills for reporting and collaboration.

Education & Experience:

• Diploma or Graduation in Mechanical Engineering, Hydraulics, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of hands-on experience as a Hydraulic Mechanic, preferably in marine or oil & gas sectors.
• Relevant certifications in hydraulic systems (a plus).

Working Conditions

• Location: On-site in Dammam, Saudi Arabia (no remote work).
• Work Environment: Workshop and field-based with occasional exposure to marine vessels.
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and stand for long periods.
• Shift: Full-time with possible overtime based on project requirements.
