Job Opening: Hydraulic Mechanics (Oil & Gas / Engineering & Construction)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Mechanic to join our operations team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position in the Oil & Gas / Engineering & Construction industry requires a detail-oriented professional with 5-10 years of experience in hydraulic systems maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair hydraulic systems, including pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, and hoses.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of hydraulic equipment.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic failures and provide efficient solutions to minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret hydraulic schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to improve system efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Document maintenance and repair activities for record-keeping and reporting.
• Operate diagnostic tools and software to assess hydraulic system performance.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new hydraulic equipment.
• Provide technical guidance to junior technicians and apprentices.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Graduation or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Hydraulics, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of hands-on experience in hydraulic system maintenance, preferably in the Oil & Gas or Construction industry.
• Proven track record of diagnosing and repairing complex hydraulic issues.

Technical Skills

• Expertise in hydraulic system components (pumps, valves, actuators, accumulators).
• Proficiency in using hydraulic testing and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong understanding of hydraulic fluid properties and contamination control.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and manuals.
• Familiarity with industry safety standards (OSHA, ISO, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of welding and fabrication for hydraulic system modifications.

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality.

Work Environment & Benefits

This is an on-site position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with no remote work option. The role involves working in industrial settings, including occasional exposure to outdoor conditions.

Salary Range: 2-4 LPA (Based on experience and qualifications)
