Job Responsibilities
As a Hydraulic Technician, your primary duties will include:
- Assembling, installing, and maintaining hydraulic systems and components.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting hydraulic system malfunctions.
- Performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance on hydraulic equipment.
- Reading and interpreting hydraulic schematics and technical manuals.
- Repairing or replacing defective hydraulic parts such as pumps, valves, cylinders, and hoses.
- Testing hydraulic systems for leaks, pressure, and performance.
- Collaborating with engineers and other technicians to resolve hydraulic issues.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Documenting maintenance and repair activities accurately.
- Providing technical support to operational teams as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess the following:
Technical Skills:
- Basic knowledge of hydraulic systems, components, and principles.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment for hydraulic systems.
- Familiarity with hydraulic schematics and technical drawings.
- Hands-on experience in repairing pumps, valves, and cylinders.
- Understanding of safety protocols in hydraulic maintenance.
Education & Experience:
- Diploma or Graduation in Mechanical Engineering, Hydraulics, or a related field.
- 0-1 year of experience in hydraulic maintenance or a similar role (freshers with relevant training may apply).
- Certification in hydraulic systems or related training is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Attention to detail and precision in work.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Good communication skills for collaborating with team members.
