About the Role

Vira International Placement Pvt. Ltd. is seeking dedicated Hygiene Officers to join our team in the Food & Beverage industry. As a Hygiene Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring food safety compliance, maintaining hygiene standards, and contributing to a safe and healthy working environment in Dubai. This entry-level position is ideal for candidates with a background in food safety and a passion for quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

The Hygiene Officer will be responsible for the following duties:

• Monitor and enforce food safety protocols in compliance with local and international regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections of food handling, storage, and preparation areas to ensure hygiene standards.
• Implement and maintain HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) guidelines.
• Train staff on proper sanitation practices and hygiene policies.
• Investigate and resolve hygiene-related complaints or violations.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with the Product Management team to ensure safe and compliant food production.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes in food safety.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field (or equivalent certification).
• 0-1 year of experience in food safety or hygiene management (entry-level candidates welcome).
• Strong understanding of food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000).
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and training skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in food safety or hygiene management (e.g., ServSafe, NEBOSH).
• Prior experience in the Food & Beverage industry.
• Familiarity with Dubai Municipality hygiene regulations.
