I&C Lead Job Opening – Nuclear Energy / Power Generation

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled I&C (Instrumentation & Control) Lead to join our Operations Department in the Nuclear Energy / Power Generation sector. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in testing & maintenance of instrumentation and control systems within a nuclear or industrial environment.

As an I&C Lead, you will oversee the inspection, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of critical control systems to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with industry standards. This role requires strong technical expertise and leadership skills to manage a team of technicians.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the testing & maintenance of instrumentation and control systems in a nuclear facility.
• Perform regular inspections, calibrations, and diagnostics to ensure system reliability.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot complex control system issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Ensure all activities comply with nuclear safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance.
• Train and mentor junior technicians in instrumentation and control protocols.
• Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities, system modifications, and compliance reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education & Certifications

• Graduation or Diploma in Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in nuclear instrumentation or industrial control systems are a plus.

Experience & Technical Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in testing & maintenance of industrial or nuclear control systems.
• Proficiency in PLCs, SCADA, DCS, and other instrumentation technologies.
• Strong understanding of nuclear power plant operations and safety protocols.
• Ability to interpret technical schematics, P&IDs, and control loop diagrams.
• Experience with calibration tools, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and diagnostic software.
