Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Electrician with over 10 years of hands-on experience in electrical installations for our engineering team in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. This role is critical to maintaining and improving industrial electrical systems within the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing devices and troubleshoot complex problems efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with national and local electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams for electrical installations.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to plan and execute electrical projects.
- Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and equipment failures.
- Supervise junior electricians and provide technical guidance as needed.
- Document maintenance and repair activities for compliance and reporting purposes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in industrial electrical systems, including motors, transformers, and control panels.
- Experience with high-voltage and low-voltage electrical installations.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes (e.g., NEC, IEC) and safety standards.
- Ability to operate electrical testing equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.).
- Familiarity with PLCs and automation systems is a plus.
