Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Mechanic to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This full-time role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in mechanical systems, particularly in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities

As an Industrial Mechanic, you will be tasked with:

• Inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical faults in industrial machinery and equipment.
• Performing routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns and ensure operational efficiency.
• Reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Collaborating with engineering teams to optimize machinery performance.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Operating hand and power tools to complete mechanical repairs.
• Troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Maintaining accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and parts inventory.
• Assisting in the installation and commissioning of new machinery.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

• A valid ITI certification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience as an Industrial Mechanic, preferably in construction or heavy industry.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and gear systems.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor in demanding environments.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following qualifications will be considered an advantage:

• Experience working in the UAE construction industry.
• Familiarity with advanced industrial machinery and automation systems.
• Certification in workplace safety (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH).
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and welding.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role involves:

• Working in industrial settings, including construction sites and manufacturing plants.
• Exposure to loud noises, dust, and varying weather conditions.
• Potential overtime or weekend shifts depending on project demands.
• Strict adherence to safety protocols and PPE requirements.
