Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Inspection Engineer with 5-10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry to join our dynamic team in Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, safety, and compliance of equipment and facilities through rigorous inspection processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed inspections of pipelines, pressure vessels, storage tanks, and other critical infrastructure in oil & gas facilities
- Implement and maintain inspection programs in compliance with international standards (API, ASME, etc.)
- Identify and report defects, corrosion, or other integrity issues
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to schedule inspections and repairs
- Analyze inspection data and prepare comprehensive technical reports
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Recommend repair methods and monitor their implementation
- Stay updated with the latest inspection technologies and methodologies
- Train junior inspection personnel as required
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or related field
Experience:
- 5-10 years of hands-on inspection engineering experience in the oil & gas industry
- Proven track record with asset integrity management systems
- Experience with non-destructive testing (NDT) methods
Technical Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of API standards (API 510, 570, 653)
- Proficiency in ASME, ANSI, and other industry codes
- Strong understanding of corrosion mechanisms and prevention methods
- Familiarity with inspection data management software
Certifications (Preferred):
- API certification (510, 570, 653)
- ASNT Level II or III certification
- CSWIP or equivalent welding inspection certification
Work Environment & Physical Demands
This position requires:
- Field work at oil & gas facilities in various weather conditions
- Occasional work at heights or in confined spaces
- Ability to lift up to 25kg of equipment
- Willingness to travel to remote sites as needed
