Job Description: Inspector - QA/QC (Tank)

About the Role

NSH (Nasser S. Al Hajri Corporation) is seeking a highly skilled QA/QC Tank Inspector to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is critical to ensuring the quality and safety of tank construction and maintenance in the Oil & Gas industry. The successful candidate will perform inspections, oversee compliance with industry standards, and ensure seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities

As a QA/QC Tank Inspector, your primary duties will include:

• Conducting thorough inspections of storage tanks, pressure vessels, and related equipment.
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards (API, ASME, AWS) and company specifications.
• Reviewing fabrication, welding, and coating processes to detect defects or deviations.
• Preparing and maintaining detailed inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and quality documentation.
• Coordinating with engineers, contractors, and clients to resolve quality issues.
• Performing hydrostatic, pneumatic, and visual testing as required.
• Supervising third-party inspections and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
• Ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.

Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Education: Graduation or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in QA/QC inspection within the Oil & Gas or Engineering & Construction sectors.
• Certifications: API 653, API 510, or equivalent certifications are preferred.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of tank inspection techniques, welding standards, and NDT methods (UT, RT, MPI, PT).
• Attention to Detail: Ability to identify non-conformities and recommend corrective actions.
• Communication: Proficient in English (spoken and written); Arabic is a plus.

Work Environment

This is an on-site role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with the following conditions:

• Work location: Oil & Gas Project in Al Olaya, Riyadh.
• Standard work hours with occasional overtime based on project demands.
• Exposure to industrial environments requiring PPE compliance.
• Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, contractors, and clients.
