Job Description

NSH (Nasser S. Al Hajri Corporation), a leading name in the Oil & Gas and Engineering & Construction industry, is seeking a highly skilled Inspector-QC (Rotating Equipment) to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves ensuring the quality and compliance of rotating equipment inspections in alignment with industry standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of rotating equipment (e.g., pumps, compressors, turbines) to ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional checks to identify defects, deviations, or non-conformities.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports, including findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to resolve quality-related issues.
• Verify that all rotating equipment meets safety and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor fabrication, installation, and commissioning processes to ensure adherence to quality control plans.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and certifications.
• Participate in internal and external audits as required.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, API, ASME, and other relevant standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Proven experience in rotating equipment inspection (pumps, compressors, turbines, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies and inspection techniques.
• Familiarity with NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) methods (e.g., UT, RT, MT, PT).
• Experience with API, ASME, and ISO standards relevant to the Oil & Gas industry.
• Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and P&IDs.

Soft Skills

• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to quality control.
• Time management and ability to meet deadlines.

Education & Certifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Certifications in API 510, API 570, API 653, or ASNT Level II are highly desirable.
• Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in rotating equipment inspection within the Oil & Gas sector.
