Job Description

HR GLOBAL REACH is seeking a highly skilled Instrument Analyzer Technician to join our Oil & Gas operations team in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in maintaining, calibrating, and troubleshooting analytical instruments used in the industry. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, calibration, and repair of analytical instruments, including gas chromatographs, spectrometers, and flow meters.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot instrument malfunctions to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with engineers and operations teams to optimize instrument performance.
• Maintain accurate records of calibrations, repairs, and inspections.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new analytical equipment.
• Monitor instrument performance and recommend improvements.
• Provide technical support and training to junior technicians.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Doctorate in a relevant field (e.g., Chemical Engineering, Instrumentation, or related disciplines).
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience as an Instrument Analyzer Technician in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical data.
• Proficiency in calibrating and troubleshooting analytical instruments.
• Knowledge of industry standards (e.g., API, ASTM, ISO).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Instrumentation or Process Control.
• Experience with SAP or other maintenance management software.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance in the Oil & Gas sector.
