Key Responsibilities

As an Instrument Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical and instrumentation systems in an industrial setting. Your duties will include:

• Install, calibrate, and maintain electrical instruments and control systems.
• Diagnose and repair faults in instrumentation and electrical equipment.
• Perform routine inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and diagrams.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to optimize system performance.
• Ensure all work adheres to company policies and industry regulations.
• Assist in commissioning new equipment and systems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess the following:

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in installing and troubleshooting instrumentation systems (e.g., pressure transmitters, flow meters, temperature sensors).
• Strong understanding of electrical circuits, PLCs, and control systems.
• Experience with calibration tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Knowledge of industry safety standards (e.g., IEC, NEC, OSHA).

Soft Skills

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Education & Experience

• Diploma or Graduation in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in Oil & Gas or Construction.
• Certifications in instrumentation or electrical work are a plus.

Work Environment

This position requires working in an industrial environment with exposure to various conditions, including:

• On-site work at oil & gas facilities or construction sites.
