Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Instrument Engineer to join our client's engineering team in Jubail Industrial City. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in instrumentation engineering with expertise in Machine Learning applications for industrial systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain instrumentation systems for industrial processes
• Implement Machine Learning algorithms to optimize instrument performance
• Calibrate and troubleshoot control systems and field instruments
• Develop predictive maintenance models using ML techniques
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate instrumentation with control systems
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
• Prepare technical documentation including specifications, datasheets, and drawings
• Provide technical support during commissioning and operation phases
• Analyze data from instruments to improve system efficiency using ML models

Required Skills and Qualifications

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of instrumentation engineering principles
• Experience with Machine Learning algorithms and their industrial applications
• Proficiency in PLC programming and DCS systems
• Understanding of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, etc.)
• Knowledge of predictive maintenance techniques
• Familiarity with CAD software for instrument design
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools

Professional Qualifications:

• Graduation/Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering or related field
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience
• Certifications in Machine Learning would be an advantage
• Experience working in industrial environments (oil & gas, petrochemical preferred)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Work Environment

This is an on-site position based in Jubail Industrial City, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working in an industrial plant environment with occasional exposure to field conditions. The candidate must be comfortable working in a multicultural team and adhering to strict safety protocols.
