Job Overview

G. Gheewala Human Resources Consultants is seeking a skilled Electrical Supervisor to join our client's team in the Oil & Gas industry based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires a candidate with 3-5 years of experience in electrical supervision, particularly in large-scale industrial or energy projects.

The successful candidate will oversee electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

As an Electrical Supervisor, your primary duties will include:

• Supervising and coordinating electrical installations, maintenance, and repair work in industrial settings.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
• Inspecting electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards or defects.
• Managing a team of electricians, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance.
• Troubleshooting electrical issues and implementing corrective actions.
• Collaborating with engineers, project managers, and contractors to ensure project timelines are met.
• Maintaining documentation, including work records, inspection reports, and safety logs.
• Providing technical guidance and training to junior staff.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education & Certification:

• Graduation or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Certification in electrical safety or relevant technical training is preferred.

Experience & Technical Skills:

• 3-5 years of experience as an Electrical Supervisor in the Oil & Gas or heavy industrial sector.
• Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution, control panels, and instrumentation.
• Familiarity with international electrical codes and standards (e.g., IEC, NEC).
• Hands-on experience with testing equipment (multimeters, insulation testers, etc.).
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and meet strict deadlines.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication (verbal and written) in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
