Job Overview

Royal Star Manpower Solutions is seeking a skilled Instrument Technician (Commissioning) to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This full-time role is ideal for candidates with 1-3 years of experience in the Oil & Gas or Engineering & Construction industries. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the proper installation, calibration, and commissioning of instrumentation systems.

Key Responsibilities

As an Instrument Technician (Commissioning), you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Install, calibrate, and commission instrumentation systems such as pressure, temperature, flow, and level transmitters.
• Perform loop checks, functional tests, and troubleshooting of control systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, project specifications, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to execute commissioning activities.
• Maintain detailed records of calibration, testing, and commissioning reports.
• Troubleshoot and resolve instrumentation-related issues during the commissioning phase.
• Operate and maintain specialized tools and equipment required for instrumentation tasks.
• Support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities to ensure timely project completion.

Skills and Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in installing, calibrating, and troubleshooting instrumentation systems.
• Strong understanding of control systems (DCS, PLC, SCADA).
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Experience with commissioning processes in Oil & Gas or related industries.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and industry regulations.

Education & Experience:

• Diploma or Graduation in Instrumentation, Electrical, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of hands-on experience in instrumentation and commissioning roles.
• Prior exposure to Oil & Gas or Engineering & Construction projects is preferred.

Work Environment

This is an on-site role located in Abu Dhabi, UAE, with no remote work options. The position may require working in challenging environments, including offshore or industrial sites, and adherence to strict safety protocols.
