About the Role
We are seeking skilled Instrument Technicians to join our team at Multilink Management Consultants in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is ideal for professionals with 1-3 years of experience in the Oil & Gas or Engineering & Construction industries. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper installation, maintenance, and calibration of instrumentation systems while adhering to Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair instrumentation and control systems in compliance with industry standards.
- Calibrate and configure instruments such as pressure gauges, transmitters, flow meters, and temperature controllers.
- Perform preventive maintenance on instrumentation equipment to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Ensure all work complies with HSE regulations and company policies.
- Document maintenance activities, calibration results, and equipment performance data.
- Assist in the commissioning of new instrumentation systems and upgrades.
- Use machine learning tools (where applicable) to analyze equipment performance and predict failures.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Graduation or Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 1-3 years of hands-on experience as an Instrument Technician in the Oil & Gas or Engineering & Construction industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of instrumentation systems, including calibration and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with HSE regulations and safety protocols.
- Basic understanding of machine learning applications in predictive maintenance (preferred but not mandatory).
- Proficiency in reading technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Certification in instrumentation or control systems (e.g., ISA Certification).
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and distributed control systems (DCS).
- Knowledge of industry-standard software for instrumentation and control.
- Exposure to machine learning tools for equipment monitoring.
