ASMACS, a leader in the construction industry, is seeking skilled and dedicated Insulators for a full-time role within our Maintenance department in Abu Dhabi. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties

As an Insulator at our Abu Dhabi location, your primary function will be to apply, maintain, and repair insulation systems. Your daily tasks will be critical to our projects' success and safety compliance.

• Measure, cut, and apply various thermal insulation materials, including fiberglass, foam, and reflective systems, to pipes, ductwork, and mechanical equipment according to specifications and blueprints.
• Install and apply acoustic insulation materials to reduce noise pollution in buildings and industrial settings, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare surfaces for insulation application by cleaning, drying, and smoothing them to ensure proper adhesion and effectiveness of materials.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and project plans to determine the type and amount of insulation required for each job.
• Secure insulation materials with appropriate fasteners, adhesives, wire, or tape, and install protective coverings or finishes as specified.
• Conduct quality checks on installed insulation to ensure it meets thickness, density, and R-value specifications for optimal thermal performance.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized worksite, adhering to all company safety protocols and UAE regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
• Collaborate with other construction trades, such as pipefitters and engineers, to coordinate work and ensure seamless project execution.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues related to insulation application, such as moisture problems or material defects, and recommend effective solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each project task.

Requirements & Qualifications

To be considered for this insulator role, candidates must meet the following criteria. We are looking for individuals who are not only qualified but also demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to quality.

Education & Certification

• A valid ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certificate in a relevant field such as Insulator Mechanic, Pipefitting, or related trade is mandatory.
• Additional certification in safety (e.g., OSHA, IOSH, or equivalent) is highly desirable and will be considered a strong advantage.

Experience & Skills

• A minimum of 1-3 years of proven experience in thermal and acoustic insulation application within the construction, oil & gas, or industrial sectors.
• Proficiency in identifying and working with various insulation materials, including but not limited to, calcium silicate, mineral wool, foam glass, and elastomeric foam.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and insulation specification sheets accurately.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials, working at heights, and in confined spaces.
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure all insulation work is completed to the highest standard and meets precise project specifications.
• Basic mathematical skills for calculating areas, volumes, and material quantities to minimize waste.
