Job Overview

Smart Training & Sourcing Co. (SMARTCO) is seeking a skilled Irrigation Technician to join our Operations team in Diriyah, Riyadh. This full-time role requires 5-10 years of hands-on experience in landscaping and irrigation systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure efficient water distribution for our construction and landscaping projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, and maintain irrigation systems for landscaping and construction projects.
• Troubleshoot and repair faulty irrigation components such as valves, sprinklers, and controllers.
• Ensure proper water pressure and coverage for optimal plant health and water conservation.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and system layouts.
• Perform routine maintenance and seasonal system adjustments.
• Collaborate with landscaping and construction teams to integrate irrigation solutions.
• Monitor water usage and recommend efficiency improvements.
• Adhere to safety protocols and local regulations for irrigation installations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Graduation or Diploma in a relevant field (e.g., Agriculture, Civil Engineering, or Landscape Design).
• 5-10 years of proven experience as an Irrigation Technician in the construction or landscaping industry.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in installing and repairing drip, spray, and rotor irrigation systems.
• Knowledge of irrigation controllers, pumps, and water distribution systems.
• Ability to diagnose and fix leaks, clogs, and electrical issues in irrigation systems.
• Familiarity with landscaping principles and soil types.

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Attention to detail and precision in system installations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills for client and team interactions.
