Job Overview
We are looking for experienced professionals to join our Irrigation Tunnel Project team. This role involves working closely with the IT and engineering departments to ensure seamless execution of irrigation infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT applications for engineering projects, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams.
This is an on-site role requiring travel across Karnataka, with a primary base in Bangalore (Malleshwaram).
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee IT-related aspects of irrigation tunnel construction and maintenance.
- Collaborate with engineers to integrate IT solutions into project workflows.
- Ensure data accuracy and system efficiency for project monitoring.
- Troubleshoot IT issues affecting project timelines and deliverables.
- Maintain documentation for IT processes and project updates.
- Train team members on IT tools relevant to the project.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and government regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education
- Graduation or Diploma in Information Technology, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- 3-18 years of experience in IT project coordination, preferably in infrastructure or engineering projects.
- Prior experience in irrigation, tunneling, or large-scale civil projects is a plus.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
- Knowledge of GIS, CAD, or BIM tools.
- Strong understanding of data management and IT infrastructure.
