Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Jr. Accountant to join our Finance & Accounting team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in accounting, particularly in accounts reconciliation, and a strong understanding of financial principles. This role is crucial in supporting the company's financial operations within the fast-paced Food Trading and Supply Chain sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily and monthly accounts reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial records.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
• Process invoices, receipts, and payments in compliance with company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and update ledgers.
• Support the senior accounting team in audits, tax filings, and compliance.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely processing.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and reporting standards.
• Contribute to process improvements in accounting workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Essential Skills:

• 1-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the Food Trading or Supply Chain industry.
• Proficiency in accounts reconciliation.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP).
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
• Attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Preferred Attributes:

• Knowledge of Saudi Arabian financial regulations is a plus.
