Key Responsibilities & Day-to-Day Duties

As a Jr. Engineer within our engineering department, you will be integral to our automotive projects. Your primary focus will be on applying mechanical engineering principles to support design, production, and maintenance processes. This hands-on role requires a detail-oriented professional committed to excellence.

Engineering Design & Development Support

• Assist senior engineers in the design and development of automotive components and systems using CAD software and other engineering tools.
• Participate in the creation and modification of technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints, ensuring they meet industry standards and project specifications.
• Conduct basic calculations for stress, strain, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics to support design validation.
• Support prototype development, from initial concept through testing and evaluation phases.

Production & Manufacturing Support

• Work closely with the production team on the shop floor to troubleshoot mechanical issues that arise during the manufacturing or assembly processes.
• Help implement quality control procedures to ensure all automotive parts and systems meet stringent quality and safety standards.
• Assist in the analysis of production data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement and logistics, to ensure smooth operation of production lines.

Testing, Maintenance, & Analysis

• Perform routine and diagnostic tests on automotive systems and components to assess performance and identify failures.
• Assist in root cause analysis for mechanical failures and contribute to developing effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Support the planning and execution of preventive maintenance schedules for machinery and equipment.
• Document all testing procedures, results, and maintenance activities in detailed technical reports.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

Education & Core Experience

• A Graduation degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• Proven experience with automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brake systems, or suspension systems.

Essential Technical Skills
