Key Responsibilities

Primary Surveying Duties

• Conduct precise land surveys and boundary determinations using advanced surveying equipment and technology
• Perform topographic surveys and collect data on land features, elevations, and contours
• Establish official land boundaries and prepare site plans for construction projects
• Operate and maintain sophisticated surveying instruments including GPS systems, total stations, and levels
• Record survey measurements and descriptive data using field notes, sketches, and digital collection methods
• Calculate heights, depths, relative positions, property lines, and other characteristics of terrain
• Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveys
• Verify the accuracy of survey data including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites

Technical Documentation

• Prepare detailed plots, maps, and reports based on survey data collection and analysis
• Maintain accurate records of survey data and project documentation
• Develop and implement quality control procedures for surveying activities

Position Requirements
