Lathe Machine Operator/Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Lathe Machine Operator/Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience operating lathe machines, a strong understanding of machining processes, and the ability to work with precision tools. This role requires expertise in machine learning applications for manufacturing efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain lathe machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
• Set up and adjust machine tools, ensuring optimal performance and accuracy.
• Monitor machine operations to detect issues and perform troubleshooting.
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to improve machining processes.
• Implement machine learning techniques to enhance production efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in operating lathe machines (CNC & manual).
• Strong knowledge of machining principles, tooling, and materials.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
• Familiarity with machine learning applications in manufacturing.
• Basic understanding of CAD/CAM software.

Education & Experience:

• ITI certification in Machining or a related field.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a lathe machine operator or machinist.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred.

Soft Skills:

• Attention to detail and high precision in work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and time management.

Work Environment

This role is based in our manufacturing facility in Al Malaz, Riyadh. The position requires standing for extended periods, lifting heavy materials, and working in a noisy environment. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided and must be worn at all times.
