We are currently seeking a Laundry Equipment Technician to join our client's team in Al Batha, Riyadh. This role is critical for ensuring the smooth operation of commercial laundry equipment in large-scale facilities.

Job Summary

As a Laundry Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial laundry machinery. Your expertise will ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance of washers, dryers, pressers, and other related equipment.

This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. If you have experience in machine learning applications for predictive maintenance, this is an excellent opportunity to apply your knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on laundry equipment to ensure longevity and efficiency.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in washers, dryers, and other laundry machinery.
• Install, calibrate, and test new equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
• Utilize machine learning tools to analyze equipment performance and predict potential failures.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, parts inventory, and service reports.
• Collaborate with facility managers to optimize laundry operations and reduce downtime.
• Train staff on basic equipment troubleshooting and safety protocols.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Source and order replacement parts as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Graduation or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing laundry or industrial equipment.
• Familiarity with machine learning applications in predictive maintenance is a strong advantage.
• Certification in equipment repair or HVAC (preferred but not mandatory).

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Experience with PLCs and automated laundry systems.
• Knowledge of IoT-based monitoring systems is a plus.

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills (English and Arabic preferred).

Work Environment & Physical Demands

This role is on-site and requires working in industrial laundry facilities with exposure to noise, heat, and humidity. The technician must be able to:

• Lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
• Work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or emergency calls.
