Key Responsibilities

As our Laundry Supervisor in Muscat, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our laundry facility operations. Your daily duties will encompass a wide range of supervisory and technical tasks essential to maintaining our high standards of service.

Operations Management

• Manage and coordinate daily laundry operations to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks
• Supervise the sorting, washing, drying, ironing, folding, and packaging of linens and garments
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure all items meet established standards
• Monitor laundry equipment performance and coordinate maintenance and repairs as needed
• Develop and implement efficient systems for handling specialized items requiring specific cleaning protocols

Team Leadership

• Supervise, train, and schedule laundry staff to ensure proper coverage and operational efficiency
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching to enhance team productivity
• Foster a positive work environment that emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork
• Delegate tasks effectively and monitor staff performance to maintain high productivity levels

Inventory and Supply Management

• Manage inventory of linens, uniforms, and cleaning supplies to ensure adequate stock levels
• Monitor usage patterns and coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment of supplies
• Implement cost-control measures to reduce waste and optimize resource utilization
• Maintain accurate records of laundry processed, supplies used, and equipment maintenance

Quality Assurance

• Establish and enforce quality standards for all laundry processes
• Conduct regular inspections of cleaned items to ensure they meet appearance and hygiene standards
• Address customer complaints or concerns regarding laundry services promptly and professionally
• Implement corrective actions when quality issues are identified

Qualifications and Requirements

Education and Experience

• Diploma or Graduation in relevant field such as hospitality management, business administration, or facilities management
• Minimum 5-10 years of progressive experience in laundry operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity
• Proven track record of managing industrial or commercial laundry facilities
• Experience with large-scale laundry equipment and automation systems

Technical Skills
